Aivars Lode

Aivars founded Avantcé, a private equity firm, in September 2001 in order to invest in software companies. Following on from the success of Avantcé, Aivars founded IT Capital. 
Over the past decade Aivars has been instrumental in a number of investments including Robocom Systems International, Radcliffe, ADT, Aviva Solutions and ROI. In addition to his own investments Aivars has been retained by private equity firms CVC Capital Partners, Golden Gate Capital, Bain Capital and Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe to advise on their acquisition strategies in Software. Aivars successfully participated in creating the strategies for companies like IBM’s EDI business, Inovis, Infor and Mincom. Aivars also created a consortium to acquire the major airline cargo space for optimization, this resulted in private equity firms Welsh Carson and General Atlantic investing in 3rd party logistics providers.   
Prior to founding Avantcé, Aivars was Group President of Descartes Systems Group based in Canada. Descartes is a publicly traded company providing customers with Internet based solutions to manage their complete supply chain. As Group President, Aivars led the company's global expansion efforts, achieving profitable growth as well as completing the successful acquisition and consolidation of two EDI businesses, TDNI and TranSettlements. He was named Group President in April 2000 after leading Descartes' successful expansion into the Asia Pacific region as President Asia Pacific. 
Prior to joining Descartes, Aivars was with Oracle heading Applications Software for Australasia. He led the organization’s change from a direct aggressive customer relationship model to that of a consultative business partner.  Aivars first entered the technology industry in 1991, when he joined Dun & Bradstreet Software, an enterprise software solutions provider. During his tenure with DBS he ascended through various management roles and transitioned several divisions from a strategic focus on high growth to that of customer intimacy and operational efficiency. Prior to DBS Aivars held various management positions, including COO, CFO and CIO roles in both public and private corporations.
Throughout his career Aivars has lived in Australia, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong and has conducted business in most of the industrialized countries in the world.  Aivars holds a Bachelors of Business, Accounting from Swinburne University in Melbourne Australia.  Aivars is a past member of the Board of Directors at First Bank and Trust of Illinois.

Alan Juliano

Alan is a results driven global executive with 30+ years in the Financial Services industry. His global experience comes from 13+ years in Asia and Europe building financial services businesses, both from new and through acquisitions. Most recently Alan was Principal of Bantam Investments, a private investment firm specializing in asset based lending, real estate and private equity. Prior to that Alan spent a decade managing two divisions of the General Electric group. Initially he was President & CEO of GE Capital Solutions based in Tokyo, Japan. GE Capital offers consumers and businesses around the globe an array of financial products and services. Furthering his global experience Alan was appointed President & CEO of GE European Equipment Services based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. GE Equipment Services provides trailers, satellite tracking, vans, railcars, construction equipment and modular buildings for rental and lease. Alan has extensive senior leadership experience in restructuring, acquisitions, finance, risk, business development, sales & marketing, operations, HR and compliance. Alan holds a BA from Trinity College-Hartford and an MBA in International Finance from St John’s University.

Bill Grigsby

Bill Grigsby has 21+ years of financial markets experience, primarily in institutional fixed income sales and research at such firms as Credit Suisse, Drexel Burnham Lambert, First Albany Capital, and Cantor Fitzgerald. Prior to his financial market experience, he held management positions at small and large food manufacturing companies. In addition, he is involved with analytical M&A work on behalf of software companies. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and earned a B.S. in Business at Truman State University in 1984.

Bob Lavery

Bob Lavery is a Managing Director and the CEO of itCONSULTmp. Over a 30 year career as a management consultant, he has built sales force effectiveness and positive organizational change for more than 300 organizations globally and trained over 30,000 professionals. Lavery & Associates, Ltd has delivered best practice strategy implementations, performance management systems and customized training for such diverse global leaders as ADP, American Express, Apple, AT&T, AXA Advisors, Fidelity Investments, HSBC, MasterCard Worldwide, and Reebok International. Each client relationship was characterized by measurable returns on investment and enduring strategic success. His work has been recognized in such leading publications as The Wall Street Journal, Boardroom Reports, Meeting News, and Sales and Marketing Management Magazine. Prior to founding the firm in 1983, Bob Lavery spent ten years with Xerox Learning Systems, a division of Xerox Corporation and a leading human resources consulting company. He was their perennial top producer as a major account sales person and manager, and was named Xerox Learning’s “Man of the Year” a record five times. Before Xerox Bob was a Fulbright Scholar and awarded a Harvard University Graduate Prize Fellowship.

Brent Keating

Brent is Group Executive Technology Banking at RBC Bank and has been involved in the Information Technology Sector for over 20 years. He currently manages RBC Bank’s Technology Banking Group for the United States, which includes responsibility for a portfolio of public and privately held technology companies, as well as RBC Bank’s Venture Debt Fund. Through his work with technology companies, he has developed keen insight into the needs and issues facing this sector. This experience has enabled him to advise clients on matters of financial structuring, acquisitions, and international trade. Through the years, he has been active in the technology community; he is currently a member of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, and sits on several Venture Fund advisory boards. He was born and educated in Ottawa, Canada.

Dwayne Ingram

Dwayne Ingram serves as the President and CEO of IT Capital Services. Dwayne is a thirty year veteran of the information technology industry and has held various positions in executive leadership and management consulting for companies of all sizes ranging from start-ups to $2.5B in revenue. He was recently a Partner in a global consulting and sourcing advisory services firm. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President for the Americas for Amadeus, a technology company based in Madrid, Spain. He spent 21 years of his career with IBM, half of that in executive management, in the services businesses of outsourcing, application development, management consulting and other leadership positions. Dwayne is best known for his background in strategic planning, organizational change, new business start-ups, turnarounds and leadership development. He speaks regularly at industry and civic conferences. He is also on the Board of Advisors for IT Capital, IT Capital Services, IT Capital Consulting Marketplace and IT Business Solutions. Dwayne is heavily involved in community organizations, both charitable and civic. Dwayne has served on the Board of Directors of CareerSource Florida, the public-private partnership of the workforce system for the state, since 2008. He was appointed Chairman of the Board by Florida Governor Rick Scott in 2011. He also sits on the board of Enterprise Florida, the Florida Council of 100 (top CEO's/Business leaders in Florida). He has previously served on the Board of Governors for the Florida Chamber of Commerce and Chamber Foundation, the Board of Directors for Florida TaxWatch, United Way of Tampa Bay, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, the Memphis Food Bank, Junior Achievement and the YMCA Camp Adventure for Special Needs Children. Dwayne is a graduate of David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Communications.

Eduard Ritscher

Eduard Ritscher is the Managing Partner of Altimus Partners, a Management Consulting specialist firm focused on strategy and execution of Technologies Business Transformation and Sourcing Advisory Services, which partner with CMA to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions to the US domestic and global financial sector. Eduard is an accomplished Technology and Business Operations executive with over 25 years of international experience in the Origination, Structuring, and Delivery of large scale technology and business transformation programs in financial markets. His domain expertise includes: Financial Technologies and Financial Operations (platform, business process, transactions processing), Sourcing Advisory Services ( Outsourcing decision and solutions, ITO, BPO, Cloud and Shared Services), Enterprise Infrastructure Services , Vertical Financial Industry Solutions, Business Transformation (Merger Integration, Restructuring , Turnarounds) and Management Consulting (IT Effectiveness, Performance Management, Technology Business Transformation, Governance, Change Management).   Over the last 20 years, Eduard served as Global Services executive and Senior Consultant with major technology vendors (HP, ACS/Xerox, Unisys, CSC, Capgemini) after serving for 10 years as Corporate Technology executive in a major global bank (Chase). He helped major US and global financial institutions formulate strategic decisions and execute tactical implementations, rationalize enterprise infrastructure services and re-engineer complex business processes and operations, adopt emerging technologies (digital services, mobility, utility computing, decision analytics) and deploy alternative service delivery models (outsourcing, shared services, cloud computing).   On the Sell-side, he led Global Sales and Delivery operations of 4 major technology vendors, large-deal sales pursuits and complex Client Consulting engagements ,managed Board and C-level Client relationships, led new market entry and competitive positioning in strategic markets. Eduard brings comprehensive Buy-side, Sell-side, and Sourcing Advisory experience in the origination, structuring, and delivery of large-scale outsourcing transactions (ITO, BPO, Financial BPO, Contact Center, Cloud and Shared Services), including more than 40 large-scale outsourcing transactions in the $250M to $1.7B range, 6 of the industry-largest multi-Client Financial BPO Shared Services, and some of the industry largest commercial implementations of Shared Services and Cloud Services.

Joel Blom

Joel is a financial executive with over 30 years experience. Since 2000 he has been executive and founder of entrepreneurial financial companies. He was a founder and COO of thinkorswim Group, Inc., online brokerage, money manager, and software developer, which is now owned by TD Ameritrade. He also served as its senior principal as it grew from startup to over $3 billion of customer assets. Most recently, he has worked on founding a bank in Malta, an online capital markets portal, and was a founding investor and board member of Plan B Funding in the UK, which consults to banks on liability strategy. Prior to thinkorswim, he worked as an executive in National Australia Bank’s US operation for over a decade managing e-commerce, commercial operations, and treasury management. While working for National Australia he served as a board member for NYCE Corporation and Mondex USA. Earlier in his career he worked for IBM and as a strategy consultant. Joel holds both a BA and MBA (with distinction) from the University of Michigan.

John R. Laroche

A Canadian national, John Laroche has lived and worked in Asia for almost 20 years.  Initially, in a development role, and later as country manager and international executive, John was a member of the ACNielsen team that positioned the company for its current role as the leader in retail, media and customized research, in the Asia Pacific region.  John has also served as a regional head of business development for Hutchison Whampoa’s non-food retail division, focused on new country development and its private label product offer. In 2001, John set up his first business in Asia bringing retail and loyalty programs, leading global technology and best practices to retailers, banks, telcos and CPG suppliers in Asia Pacific and Europe.  In 2005, John sold his position and has gone on to set up, lead and invest in businesses with partners and clients such as Aztec (Synovate), Kasikorn Bank, Royal Ahold, Diageo, Dairy Farm, Speedinsure/eKong and AsiaXPAT.com.  John is CEO of APG, as well as RMI Group Asia. John currently sits on the board of a number of companies, is a director on the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and a director of the Hong Kong National Sports Association (HKIHA) responsible for ice hockey, affiliation with the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation) and Olympic Committee.

Jon E. Davis, CFA, CFP®

Jon is President of Jon E. Davis, CPA, P.A. in Naples, Florida. He previously served as the Director of Tax Services in the Naples office of RSM McGladrey, the fifth largest public accounting/tax firm in the United States. He has over 37 years of experience in tax planning, preparation and estate planning. Jon is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and is licensed in the State of Florida for life and health insurance and variable annuities.

Kirk Roberts 

Kirk Roberts is currently an advisor and strategist for a variety of clients, primarily in the technology sector, working with Tyrcathleen Partners. He previously worked with Open Text Corporation where he held a variety of executive positions during a 14-year period, guiding the company’s growth from $10 million in revenue and 100 people to over $900 million in revenue and 4,000 people. Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive and Founder of NirvCentre & Web Networks, one of Canada’s first on-line services (1986) and Internet service providers (www.web.net), providing a suite of on-line services to NGO’s and government agencies in Canada and internationally.  The company also pioneered the introduction of email and Internet services to a variety of countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. Earlier in his career, he was Executive Director of the Ontario Environment Network, which provides support services to over 300 volunteer driven environmental organizations. He earned a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and Political Science at the University of Toronto.   

Kurt Robson 

Kurt Robson is currently CTO at a Silicon Valley start-up, developing software as a service (SAAS) applications for event producers using the most current internet technologies. Prior to this position, Kurt was VP and Chief Applications Architect at Oracle Corporation where he held a series of senior management positions in the applications division over a 16 year period. He helped to grow the Oracle applications business from inception to the world's second largest applications company with over 5,000 engineers in the division. He was VP of development for many ERP, Supply Chain Management, and Business Intelligence products while also acting as Chief Applications Architect for the entire application suite. Prior to Oracle, Kurt worked in development, consulting, and sales roles at Professional Computer Resources, a leading provider of IBM AS/400 business software. Kurt holds BA and MBA degrees from the University of Chicago.

Louis-Marie Guillaume 

Louis Marie is a CRM, software and digital specialist, who has worked for leading companies across the world. His background in consulting and software solutions, has seen him hold senior management positions with the likes of Oracle, Dun&Bradstreet Software, BroadVison and most recently with Vignette as General Manager for France. He has a good understanding of the European tech industry and has had great success running Start Ups. He created Setelia Digital in May 2014 with the ambition to provide the best digital solutions and services for organisations. He holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from HEC Paris.

Marcus Zillman 

Marcus P. Zillman, M.S., A.M.H.A.; eSolutions Architect and Executive Director of the Virtual Private LibraryTM, Creator/Founder BotSpot.com and Executive Producer of BOT2000 and BOT2001 conferences for internet.com; has designed, developed and created online databases and information retrieval access scripts for the last thirty years. He is a benefactor member of the Internet Society, participant in the IETF Users Services Working Group and was selected to participate in the U.S. Government's Open Meeting Electronic Forum as a non governmental expert on information retrieval and access. He is the Creator/Founder of BotSpot.com® "The Spot for all Bots and Intelligent Agents on the Net" one of the Internet's most awarded sites (over 400 awards) and is considered the definitive resource for Bots, Intelligent Agents and Artificial Intelligence on the Internet. PC Magazine selected it as one of the Top 100 Best Web Sites on the Internet in 1998 as well as selected by NetGuide as the Top 10 of all Internet sites during all of 1998. BotSpot® was acquired by internet.com LLC in January 1999. Currently Mr. Zillman is Executive Director of the Virtual Private LibraryTM creators of 53 Subject TracerTM Information Blogs, writes, consults, tutors and delivers keynote speeches on The Future of the Internet: eCommerce Security, Cloud Computing, HTML5 and IPV6. He is also a member of American Society for Information Science & Technology, Association of Computing Machinery, IEEE Computer Society, The Society for the Study of Artificial Intelligence and the Simulation of Behaviour, American Association for Artificial Intelligence, P2P Working Group and the gPulp Working Group. He has also authored over 80 professional Internet MiniGuides and Manuals on subject specific resources, hosted and produced over 160 Internet-101 weekly television shows, writes a monthly column on the latest Internet Resources as well as publishes a monthly newsletter titled Awareness WatchTM. His white papers have been downloaded over one million times.

Rainer N. Filthaut

Ranier has 35 years of experience in the real estate industry. He is a native of Switzerland and currently resides in the United States where he is a real estate broker, Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS). During the last 10 years, he has represented European and Middle Eastern investors in more than $400 million in commercial real estate transactions. His current work focuses on residential and commercial brokerage in Southwest Florida where he is actively involved in the community. In addition to serving as owner and broker of IRC International Realty Corporation in Naples, he is a partner in IRC Investor Services LLC, which specializes in consulting and accounting for European investors in Florida. He is a past member of the Management Advisory Board for Northern Trust, Naples and a past member of the Naples Area Chamber of Commerce, among other accomplishments.

Trevor Rahill, CPA

Trevor founded Focus International LLC in 2009 to provide business advisory services for SME companies in the Flavor & Fragrance and Food Ingredient industries looking to expand internationally. He works closely with North American, Indian and Chinese clients to develop international expansion strategies including M&A designed to expand their brand recognition and gain market share in strategic international markets. Prior to founding Focus International, Trevor was Senior VP International and Finance for Wild Flavors, and Vice President and CFO at Sensient Technologies. He is an Australian citizen and currently resides in the United States.
