Alan Juliano is the Managing Director of the IT Capital Fund. Alan is a results driven global executive with 30+ years in the Financial Services industry. His global experience comes from 13+ years in Asia and Europe building financial services businesses, both from new and through acquisitions. Most recently Alan was Principal of Bantam Investments, a private investment firm specializing in asset based lending, real estate and private equity. Prior to that Alan spent a decade managing two divisions of the General Electric group. Initially he was President & CEO of GE Capital Solutions based in Tokyo, Japan. GE Capital offers consumers and businesses around the globe an array of financial products and services. Furthering his global experience Alan was appointed President & CEO of GE European Equipment Services based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. GE Equipment Services provides trailers, satellite tracking, vans, railcars, construction equipment and modular buildings for rental and lease. Alan has extensive senior leadership experience in restructuring, acquisitions, finance, risk, business development, sales & marketing, operations, HR and compliance. Alan holds a BA from Trinity College-Hartford and an MBA in International Finance from St John’s University.A Canadian national, John Laroche has lived and worked in Asia for almost 20 years. Initially, in a development role, and later as country manager and international executive, John was a member of the ACNielsen team that positioned the company for its current role as the leader in retail, media and customized research, in the Asia Pacific region. John has also served as a regional head of business development for Hutchison Whampoa’s non-food retail division, focused on new country development and its private label product offer. In 2001, John set up his first business in Asia bringing retail and loyalty programs, leading global technology and best practices to retailers, banks, telcos and CPG suppliers in Asia Pacific and Europe. In 2005, John sold his position and has gone on to set up, lead and invest in businesses with partners and clients such as Aztec (Synovate), Kasikorn Bank, Royal Ahold, Diageo, Dairy Farm, Speedinsure/eKong and AsiaXPAT.com. John is CEO of APG, as well as RMI Group Asia. John currently sits on the board of a number of companies, is a director on the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and a director of the Hong Kong National Sports Association (HKIHA) responsible for ice hockey, affiliation with the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation) and Olympic Committee.
